Shipping Policies

All items listed as "Free Shipping" will be sent by standard / economy delivery and is only for items shipped within the continuous 48 United States. If you need your item sooner please email us and we will be happy to get some expedited shipping quotes. You will just be charged the additional amount for the expedited service. 

Items may not be sent to US Post Office Boxes and extra charges may be applied to items going to APO and FPO addresses. Large items such as lighting, furniture etc cannot be sent to APO & FPO addresses

Furniture items that require shipment via Freight/ Truck may incur extra charges for remote locations or inaccessible by regular truck . The customer will be responsible for any additonal charges such as ferry fees etc. Please contact us before ordering to provide us with any special delivery needs that must be taken into account for the item to reach it's destination. Jennifer Estes Interior Design (JEID) is not responsible for any of these charges. It is the responsibility of the buyer to inquire about this before placing order. Once order is placed, the buyer is responsible for all shipping delivery fees. If it is a "Free Shipping " item, the buyer will be responsible for paying any shipping cost incurred above standard shipping to their delivery address.

Estimated ship times are posted on each item's page and are just that "estimated". J Estes Home does not guarantee any shipping / delivery times or item availability. We will notify you if an item is backordered or out of stock and provide a new shipment date. You may decide at that time if you would like to cancel the order or proceed with it.  Please email us before ordering if you have any questions or concerns about availability / shipping times.

Most large items will come via Freight Truck Delivery. It is the buyers responsibility to set up a delivery time convenient for them. Most companies deliver during standard business hours Monday - Friday. They will contact you several days prior to delivery and will offer you a 1-4 hour delivery time frame. For standard delivery they will delivery to your driveway. All "Free Shipping " items only cover this standard delivery. If you prefer for your item to be delivered within your home and placed in a particular room, please contact us to receive a quote for an additional fee to accomodate this service. "In Home" or " Velvet Glove " delivery is usually around $100 but please contact us for exact amount.

It is the buyers responsibility to be at home for all scheduled delivery items. If the buyer is not there when the delivery company delivers the buyer will be responsible for paying all costs to have the item redelivered.

If you need to reschedule a delivery time with the freight company, please contact them as soon as possible to reschedule to avoid any extra charges.

Sometimes our manufacturers experience production delays / backups which are beyond our control. We will notify you if this happens and provide an updated ship date.  Orders may not be cancelled once the order has been placed due to delays beyond our control. Lead times and shipping times will vary due to the custom nature of our products . Please email us before placing an order to verify stock availibility and estimated production times. Jennifer Estes Interior Design (JEID) does not guarantee any estimated lead times or availability and is not liable for any delays. We are at the mercy of our manufacturers and only operating as a third party liason to provide access to items usually only available to retailers / interior designers. Our manufacturers do their best to produce well made, quality items  and to ship them out as soon as possible.

Damages & Wrong Item Received

It is the buyers responsibility to inspect their furniture delivery items thourougly upon arrival. DO NOT SIGN for any item if there is any damage done to the piece. Open all boxes / containers and thouroughly inspect all items before signing the delivery receipt. If there is any damage please email us right away while the delivery company is there so that we can  discuss best way to deal with this and arrange for the delivery company to return the item. We will also help start the process to get a replacement piece on it's way to you .Once the delivery receipt is signed the piece is yours and the manufacturer is not obligated to replace the item. If you cannot get in touch with us , either refuse the delivery ( DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING) or note all of the damages and andy packaging flaws on the bill of lading before signing for the delivery. Feel free to take pictures as well . Jennifer Estes Interior Design (JEID) will not be able to help you replace the damaged item or receive a reimbursement if the above procedures are not followed.

All damages on small delivery items must be reported within 3 days of delivery to be elgible for a replacement. After 3 days no damage claims can be honored. Please email us right away so that we can help get you in touch with the Manufacturer to start the return process.

Jennifer Estes Interior Design (JEID) is not responsible for any damages to any items during the shipping process. Jennifer Estes Interior Design (JEID) will help they buyer make contact with the manufacturer and provide any necessary information needed for replacement paperwork. It is the responsibiliy of the buyer to arrange pick up and a new delivery time. 

If you receive the wrong item or your items specifications are wrong please contact us right away and we will be happy to have your correct item shipped out right away and arrange for the incorrect item to be picked up. Please keep all of the original packaging materials and have the item boxed up and ready for pick up. Item must be returned in an undamaged and complete condition.
